Join a new and exciting position within the Physiotherapy Department, contributing to the Aged Care/Medical clinical stream while being an integral part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) on a new Oncology ward. This role offers the opportunity to support and expand existing physiotherapy services across the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre and lymphoedema service, while delivering advanced clinical care to oncology patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will play a key role in shaping the future of the service by leading service development initiatives, driving evaluation processes, and contributing to continuous quality improvement projects that enhance patient outcomes.
Are You the Right Fit?
We are seeking an experienced and motivated physiotherapist with a strong background in managing complex cases across oncology, neurology, medical, and aged care settings. You will bring highly developed clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills, along with a collaborative approach to teamwork and excellent communication abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the capacity to effectively case manage patients while building strong, professional relationships with hospital teams and community care providers, ensuring coordinated and patient-centred care.

- Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Please describe how your relevant clinical skills and experience across oncology and related clinical areas meet the requirements of this role.
- Please outline how your effective interpersonal and communication skills have supported the development of partnerships with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
- Please describe your experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of quality improvement and service development activities in a complex care setting.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
