The Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) Practice Head is accountable for end-to-end leadership, growth, and operational excellence of the ADM practice across Australia & New Zealand.
This role combines P&L ownership, business growth, client leadership, delivery excellence, and talent development, driving a high-performing, scalable ADM capability aligned to market demand. The Practice Head plays a critical role in pipeline generation, deal shaping, portfolio transformation, and executive client engagement, while, ensuring ADM delivery meets Capgemini’s quality, margin, and growth ambitions across Australia and New Zealand.
Responsibilities:
Strategy, Growth & P&L Ownership:
- Own ADM strategy, P&L, revenue, contribution margin (CM), and growth targets across the portfolio
- Drive pipeline generation, bookings, and funnel growth in partnership with market units and sector teams
- Define and execute Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy aligned to regional and sector priorities
- Lead presales, solutioning, and bid strategy for ADM opportunities
- Own commercials, pricing, and deal structuring for large and complex engagements
Client Leadership & Market Positioning:
- Build and manage trusted C-level relationships (CIO, CTO, CDO, CFO) to shape demand and long-term partnerships
- Act as Executive Sponsor for strategic ADM accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth
- Lead executive governance forums and client reviews
- Strengthen ADM market positioning and brand presence in AUNZ
- Engage with industry analysts, advisors, and ecosystem partners
Portfolio & Offer Leadership:
- Own and evolve the ADM service portfolio, including modernization, cloud-native, DevOps, automation, and AI-enabled services
- Lead application portfolio transformation to deliver measurable business value
- Shape and govern large, multi-tower ADM deals, ensuring integrated, end-to-end solutions across service lines
- Identify and scale innovative and future-ready capabilities aligned to market demand
Delivery Excellence & Customer Success:
- Own end-to-end accountability for ADM delivery, including SLAs, budgets, timelines, transitions, and escalations
- Drive delivery excellence across managed services engagements
- Establish robust delivery, quality, and risk governance frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement and measurable client outcomes
Industrialisation, Innovation & Productivity:
- Lead industrialisation, automation, and AI adoption to improve productivity and margins
- Embed DevOps, cloud migration, and modern engineering practices across engagements
- Leverage global assets, accelerators, and offshore delivery capabilities
People Leadership & Capability Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing ADM organisation, ensuring strong capability, succession planning, and career development
- Maintain an optimised delivery pyramid and workforce plan aligned to demand
- Drive employee engagement, retention, and leadership development
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and inclusion
Collaboration & Matrix Leadership:
- Operate effectively in a complex matrix organisation, collaborating across service lines, sectors, and geographies
- Influence and align stakeholders without direct authority to drive business outcomes
- Partner with Sales, Delivery Executives, Architecture, and Global Practices to deliver integrated solutions
