We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our Toddler Room at Journey Early Learning Caroline Springs.
About the Role
As the Lead Educator, you will play a key role in creating a warm, engaging, and stimulating environment where toddlers can thrive. You will lead curriculum planning, mentor fellow educators within your room, and build strong relationships with children and families while ensuring high-quality educational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of engaging, play-based learning experiences
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for toddlers
- Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing through intentional teaching practices
- Guide and mentor educators within the room to achieve high-quality outcomes
- Build strong and respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, EYLF, and Journey policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality practices across the service
- Maintain accurate observations and documentation of children's learning and development
What You'll Bring
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator or strong experience working within a Toddler Room
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for delivering high-quality early childhood education and care
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (or willingness to obtain)
