About the role:
We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide care and assistance a 17-year-old woman with a Traumatic Brain Injury. This care will help her to remain living independently at home with her family.

Duties include but not limited to:
- Assistance with personal care tasks
- Medication administration
- Assistance with Allied Health tasks
- Manual Handling
- Domestic Assistance
- Documentation and reporting
- Community Access
- Transport in your own car to and from school - short distance
You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and would get the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.
Shift times during school terms:
- Mondays 6:30am – 8:30am and 3:15pm – 7:00pm
- Tuesdays 7:00am – 9:00am and 3:15pm – 7:00pm
- Wednesdays 6:45am – 8:45am and 3:15pm – 7:00pm (fortnightly)
- Thursdays 7:00am – 9:00am and 7:00pm – 9:00pm (fortnightly)
- Saturdays 8:00am – 5:00pm (fortnightly)
- Sundays 8:00am – 4:00pm (fortnightly)
Shift times change during school holidays: Monday to Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm and 3.30pm - 7.30pm
What you need:
- Good English-speaking skills, be clearly and easily understood
- Care experience
- Current references
- Mobile phone
- Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
- NDIS Worker's Screening Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
- First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
- Working With Children Check – Paid or willingness to obtain
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability) or equivalent (mandatory)
