Kitchen Dishwasher (Casual) - Weekend Availability Required
We are seeking a reliable, high-energy Casual Dishwasher to join our fast-paced takeaway team for 3 to 4 days per week.
The Role
As a crucial part of our kitchen team, your primary focus will be keeping our fast-paced takeaway operations running smoothly by ensuring all containers, trays, cutlery, and cookware are spotless, sanitized, and ready for use.
Key Responsibilities
- Hand-wash and sanitize all takeaway kitchen containers, trays, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans.
- Sort, stack, and store clean items neatly in their correct locations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized wash station.
- Assist with general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and emptying bins.
- Support the kitchen team with basic food prep tasks during quiet periods.
Requirements
- Availability: Must be fully available to work weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), as these are our busiest shifts.
- Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and safely lift heavy stacks of kitchen equipment.
- Speed: Capable of working quickly and efficiently under pressure during peak service times.
- Teamwork: A positive attitude and willingness to help out where needed.
- Experience: Prior kitchen hand or dishwashing experience is preferred, but not essential—we will train the right person!
