Rob’s Trailer Repairs is a busy and growing trailer repair workshop based in Wangara, WA.
We specialise in trailer servicing, repairs, welding, fabrication, modifications and fleet maintenance across a wide range of trailers including box trailers, plant trailers, tradesman trailers, horse floats and boat trailers.
We are looking for a motivated and reliable team member with strong welding skills and hands-on trailer repair experience to join our workshop team.
The Role
You will be involved in:
- Trailer repairs and maintenance
- Welding and fabrication work
- Suspension, brake and axle repairs
- Structural repairs and modifications
- Trailer servicing and inspections
- General workshop duties
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and can work independently as well as part of a team.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in trailer repairs is essential
- Strong MIG welding skills
- Ability to fabricate and repair steel components
- Ability to use workshop tools and equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
Highly Regarded
- Trade qualification in Welding / Fabrication
- Experience with brakes, suspension and wheel bearings
- Experience with aluminium welding
- Forklift ticket
- Experience working on commercial or fleet trailers
