ZA'ATAR Middle Eastern Kitchen is a busy and well-established Middle Eastern takeaway restaurant located in Bellingen, NSW. We are seeking a qualified and motivated Chef to join our team on a full-time basis.

- Hours: 38 hours per week
- Salary: $79,499 per annum plus 12% superannuation
- Location: Bellingen, NSW
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a range of Middle Eastern dishes and menu items to a consistently high standard.
- Plan and organise food preparation and cooking activities.
- Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation and consistency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
- Assist with menu development and the introduction of new dishes.
- Manage stock rotation and assist with ordering and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment.
- Supervise kitchen operations during service periods and ensure timely preparation of meals.
Skills and Experience
- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience working as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Experience with Middle Eastern cuisine will be highly regarded.
