The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you'll take ownership of the full sales cycle - from qualifying opportunities through to closing deals and managing client relationships.
You'll work directly with business owners, founders, and senior decision-makers, helping them identify the right exhibition and sponsorship opportunities to achieve their commercial objectives.
This is a consultative, relationship-driven sales role offering genuine career progression into Senior Account Executive, Sales Manager, and Event Director positions.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the full sales process from qualified lead through to close
- Building strong relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and commercial partners
- Conducting sales meetings via phone and video with business decision-makers
- Understanding client objectives and recommending tailored exhibition packages
- Negotiating commercial agreements and closing new business
- Managing your sales pipeline and forecasting accurately through CRM
- Working closely with marketing and event teams to maximise event success
- Maintaining long-term relationships to drive repeat business and account growth
- Attending live exhibitions and building relationships with clients face-to-face
What We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:
- Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence presenting solutions to senior decision-makers
- A consultative sales approach
- Excellent negotiation and closing skills
- A competitive mindset with a passion for exceeding targets
- Strong organisational and pipeline management skills
