As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team on a casual basis.
The Role
This is a casual position based in Wallan, with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right candidate.
This role is suited to someone with experience estimating aluminium windows and doors who can confidently read plans, review specifications, and prepare accurate quotations.
You will be responsible for preparing detailed and competitive quotes for a range of residential and commercial projects. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, builders, and our internal team to ensure each estimate is completed accurately and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare quotations for aluminium windows and doors projects
- Read and interpret architectural drawings, window schedules, and specifications
- Measure quantities and identify project requirements
- Use estimating software such as Logikal or similar systems
- Liaise with clients, builders, suppliers, and team members
- Follow up on quote details, amendments, and clarifications
- Ensure estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed within required deadlines
- Maintain clear records of quotes and project information
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience estimating aluminium windows and doors, or similar building products
- Experience using Logikal or similar estimating software
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans and technical documentation
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers
- Good communication and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of residential and commercial aluminium systems will be highly regarded
