The Role
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Support Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis. You will work alongside participants, families, and service providers to coordinate supports, build capacity, and ensure people are heard and well-supported on their NDIS journey.
This role is classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 (SCHADS Award) at Level 4, pay point commensurate with qualifications and experience.

What You Will Do
- Coordinate NDIS supports for participants with Down syndrome, working collaboratively with families, carers, and service providers.
- Build participants' capacity to understand and navigate their NDIS plans.
- Develop and review support plans, monitor goal progress, and manage plan budgets.
- Liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including allied health, government agencies, and community organisations.
- Maintain accurate case notes and NDIS-compliant documentation.
- Uphold culturally safe, person-centred practice in all interactions.
What We Are Looking For
Essential
- Diploma-level qualification in community services, social work, disability, or a related field — or equivalent experience (consistent with SCHADS Level 4 criteria).
- Demonstrated experience in NDIS support coordination or a closely related role.
- Strong understanding of the NDIS framework, including plan management and budget monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills and confidence working across complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Commitment to cultural safety and working respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Current WWCC (or ability to obtain), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and NT driver's licence.
Desirable
- Experience supporting people with Down syndrome or other intellectual disabilities.
- Existing relationships within the Darwin disability services network.
- Proficiency with NDIS practice management software (e.g. Flowlogic, ShiftCare).

Pay: $88,090.00 – $94,789.00 per year
