Position Status: Permanent Part Time (0.6 EFT)
Classification: Grade 3 (HS3)
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Workplace Trainer/Careers Advisor will coordinate essential training and development activities for non-clinical staff, specifically those who fall within the Health and Allied Services Managers and Administrative Workers classifications (incl administration; assistants; trades; store persons; technicians; health care worker; personal care assistant; cleaner, etc.).
This role will entail sourcing external training providers to work in partnership with Benalla Health to design, develop and be part of the delivery of learning programs and training packages to meet employee needs.
Facilitating group and individual learning in the workplace will also be a requirement of the role.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Hold a current Diploma or Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent or the ability to acquire such within the role.

Industry experience in supervision and support of staff learning and development.

Relevant and current health industry experience.

Demonstrated ability in establishing and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders (employers, employees, and training providers).

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including computer literacy.

Sound skills in problem solving, collaboration, teamwork, organisation, planning and time management.
