Job Description
The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the business, ensuring efficient office procedures, supporting project delivery teams, coordinating business administration functions, and maintaining effective communication between management, clients, suppliers, and employees. The role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of the company's office and administrative systems.
Daily tasks include
- Planning, organising, and coordinating administrative procedures, office systems, and business operations to support company activities.
- Coordinating administrative support functions, including document management, filing systems, record keeping, and correspondence.
- Monitoring office expenditure, processing invoices, and assisting with budget administration and cost control activities.
- Liaising with clients, suppliers, contractors, and service providers regarding administrative, operational, and project-related matters.
- Maintaining company records, operational documentation, licences, permits, and compliance-related information.
- Assisting management with the preparation of reports, operational schedules, business correspondence, and administrative documentation.
- Maintaining personnel records, onboarding documentation, leave records, and timesheet information.
- Maintaining scheduling systems and coordinating meetings, appointments, and administrative support for management.
Requirements:
1. Relevant qualification: Diploma or higher qualification. Relevant work experience may substitute for formal qualifications where applicable. At least three years of relevant experience may substitute the formal qualification.
2. Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or in a closely related role.
3. Other requirements:
- Strong organisational and administrative management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business administration systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with management, staff, clients, and contractors.
Annual salary: $79,499 - $89,499 + superannuation (40 hours per week)
Pay: $79,499.00 – $89,499.00 per year
