Job description:
- Receive the customer and engage with the customer to understand the customer’s requirements.
- Introducing various product offerings to the customers and facilitate customer’s buying decision.
- Prepare the estimate of the products selected and completing the sales transaction through PDA Device.
- Achieve category wise sales target for the allocated section.
- Promote and enroll customers in Schemes, highlighting and promoting its benefits.
- Supporting customers in scheme opening process.
- Engage children with suitable gifts (balloons, coloring books etc.)
- Understand the queries and complaints from the customer and address the right solution (take support from store leadership wherever required).
- Managing customer experience in the assigned section as per established guidelines, support in all after- sales queries.
- Identify potential customers and referring them to the store.
- Tele calling (if applicable)- calling up new customers, inviting existing customers and leads promotional events, campaigns etc.
- Appropriate Packing of Products according to the Product Category.
- Responsible for proper and attractive display of the products at the appropriate counter free from dust and dirt daily.
- Monitor the stock in the section and ensure adequate stock for sales.
- Count and maintain the account of stock daily by managing the record of the opening stock and closing stock in the section allocated.
- Report on the stock sold in the section for reordering to the sales manager for timely stock replenishment.
- Monitor the dead stock and liaison with the store manager to minimize the same.
- Transfer the stock to the locker at the close of the day; maintain safety of jewelry displayed to customers and communicate promptly to the superiors about any potential theft.
- Adhere to cost saving practices undertaken in the store.
- Providing discounts within one’s limit, obtaining approval from store leadership for further discounting (if any).
- Billing- entering accurate details of customers
- Support sales team for collection of cash and card transactions from customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships and network with competitors to leverage leading practices & learning to improve store level processes.
- Provide support for the marketing team for potential customer visits and exhibitions.
Qualification and Experience/ Profile
- 2 years’ retail sales experience
- Good communication skills and immaculate grooming
- Strong selling skills and customer oriented
- High School - graduates preferred
