Position Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Front of House team member to join our restaurant. The successful candidate will deliver outstanding customer service while assisting with food and beverage service, including preparing and serving basic cocktails. A positive attitude, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using the POS system.
Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring excellent customer service.
Prepare and serve basic cocktails, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and other beverages.
Maintain a clean, organised, and fully stocked bar area.
Verify customer identification and ensure responsible service of alcohol (RSA).
Process cash, EFTPOS, and other payments accurately.
Clear and reset tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area.
Assist with opening and closing duties, including stock replenishment and cleaning.
Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve minor complaints professionally.
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures. Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant, café, or bar is preferred.
Basic knowledge of cocktail preparation and bar operations.
Current RSA Certificate (mandatory).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure. * Strong teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Knowledge of Mexican food and beverages is an advantage but not essential.

Pay: $26.44 – $30.00 per hour
