Join Legal Services within Queensland Treasury as a Legal Projects Manager and play a key role in shaping how legal services are delivered. This position provides a unique opportunity to lead innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the legal function, with a focus on technology enablement, including AI tools and practice-wide efficiency. Working alongside senior legal leaders and stakeholders, you will contribute to strategic outcomes that support government priorities while enhancing legal processes and systems.
In this role, you will:
Deliver legal projects and initiatives across commercial, fiscal, energy and infrastructure matters
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve legal service delivery, including leveraging AI and emerging technologies
- Collaborate with legal teams and stakeholders to embed consistent, efficient systems and processes
- Develop and refine knowledge management practices, legal processes and documentation
- Provide training, guidance and resources to support adoption of new tools and practices
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and support the management of the Legal team's technology portfolio
What experience you will bring:
Relevant legal expertise as a qualified solicitor with post admission experience
- Technological proficiency, including Microsoft tools, AI platforms and legal technology solutions
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic, solutions focused legal advice
- Strong project and change management capability, with the ability to drive outcomes
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders
- A proactive, client focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
You must be admitted to practice law as a solicitor in Queensland.
