Senior Test Analyst
Duration: 6 months/12 months FTC
Location: Brisbane, Hybrid
We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM) to support a complex ERP transformation.
You will be responsible for planning, designing and executing end-to-end testing across key Finance and Supply Chain processes, working closely with Business Analysts, SMEs, developers and system integrators to ensure the solution meets business and quality requirements.
The role will cover functional testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing and data validation, with a strong focus on end-to-end ERP business processes.
Key responsibilities will include:

Design and execute test cases, scripts and scenarios across functional, SIT, UAT and regression testing.

Perform end-to-end testing across D365 F&SCM, including:

Finance – GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets
-
Procurement & Sourcing
-
Inventory & Warehouse Management
-
Supply Chain processes
-
Validate end-to-end ERP processes against business and functional requirements.

Perform data validation and reconciliation across source and target systems.
-
Collaborate with Business Analysts, SMEs, developers and system integrators to refine requirements and acceptance criteria.

Investigate defects and data issues and support root-cause analysis.

Identify gaps in requirements, test coverage and business processes.

Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, execution results and defects.

Participate in defect triage, daily stand-ups and Agile ceremonies.

Provide clear reporting on testing progress, risks, issues and quality.

Support UAT coordination and business validation activities.

Contribute to improvements in test efficiency, quality and business processes.

Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst within large ERP implementations or transformation programs.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management (D365 F&SCM) – mandatory.

Demonstrated testing experience across D365 Finance and Supply Chain modules, including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Inventory and Warehouse Management.

Strong experience across functional, SIT, UAT and regression testing.

Good understanding of end-to-end ERP business processes and integrations.

Experience with data validation and reconciliation testing.

Strong knowledge of the software testing lifecycle, test methodologies and defect management.

Experience using test management/delivery tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira and/or Quality Center.

Experience working across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Strong defect investigation, problem-solving and root-cause analysis skills.

Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, SMEs, developers and system integrators.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management or a related discipline.

Previous experience within the healthcare sector.

Experience with RSAT (Regression Suite Automation Tool).

Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines and test automation.

Experience testing APIs and system interfaces.

Automation/programming capability using technologies such as C#, .NET, Java and/or Python.

ISTQB certification, ideally Advanced Level or Test Manager.

Experience contributing to automation capability uplift.

Demonstrated experience identifying opportunities to improve testing processes, business efficiency and quality outcomes.

Strong learning agility with the ability to work effectively in complex and ambiguous transformation environments.
