Chef / Café All-Rounder – Kidz Crew Indoor Playcentre (North Geelong)
Kidz Crew Indoor Playcentre is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Chef / Café All-Rounder to join our team.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced family environment and takes pride in preparing quality food while delivering excellent customer service.
About the Role
As our Chef / Café All-Rounder, you will:
- Prepare and cook breakfast, lunch and café meals.
- Maintain high food quality and presentation standards.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Assist with food preparation and stock rotation (FIFO).
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised and compliant with health regulations.
- Wash dishes and maintain kitchen equipment.
- Serve customers and prepare hot and cold beverages when required.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Work as part of a team to provide a great experience for our customers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a chef, cook or café all-rounder.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Availability to work weekdays and weekends.
