About the Role
CMV Truck & Bus is seeking a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Café Attendant to join our team on a casual basis, working Fridays in our in-house café at our state-of-the-art Derrimut facility. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern and welcoming environment where you'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for employees, customers and visitors. What you will be doing
- preparing and serving food and drinks for consumption
- taking customers' food orders
- operating cash registers, accepting payments and preparing sales invoices
- washing dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils
- cleaning cafe equipment as required
- help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas
- participating in stocktakes and assisting in putting away new stock
We are looking for someone who has……
- Experience working in a similar role (preferred)
- POS system experience (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude
- High level of personal presentation and grooming
- Ability to work under pressure
- Possess high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Understanding of food safety requirements
