Assistant Venue Leader – Yo-Chi Newtown
Newtown is known for its energy, creativity, and community, and we're looking for an Assistant Venue Leader who can bring all three to our team.
At Yo-Chi, we don't just serve frozen yogurt. We create experiences. Whether it's a late night dessert run, a catch up with friends, or someone's weekly treat. As an Assistant Venue Leader, you'll play a key role in creating that experience while helping lead one of Sydney's most vibrant venues.

What you'll be doing:
- Leading by example and creating a positive, energetic environment for guests and team members
- Supporting the Venue Leader in the day to day running of the venue
- Coaching, developing and motivating team members to perform at their best
- Managing key operational tasks including stock control, cash handling, food safety and compliance
- Delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining Yo-Chi's high standards
- Helping drive venue performance through strong leadership, efficiency and attention to detail
- Ensuring every shift runs smoothly, even during the busiest periods
About you:
- You have leadership experience in hospitality or retail
- You're a natural people person who enjoys building strong teams
- You lead with positivity, accountability and a hands on approach
- You stay calm under pressure and know how to keep a team motivated during busy services
- You're passionate about delivering great customer experiences and creating a welcoming environment
- You're available to work a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
