About Lyka:
Lyka was founded in 2018 by Anna Podolsky, inspired by her dog, Lyka, who was suffering from chronic health issues despite being on “premium” kibble. Together with Gabriel Guedes (COO) and Dr. Matthew Muir (Integrative Veterinarian), they built Lyka from the ground up with one core belief: better food can radically improve a pet’s healthspan and quality of life.
Lyka’s meals are vet-formulated and gently cooked from real food ingredients. Delivered via a flexible subscription model, Lyka meals have driven remarkable improvements for tens of thousands of customers, supporting gut health, reducing intolerances, improving energy and mobility, and even promoting hair growth.
What began as home-cooked meals has since scaled into one of Australia’s fastest-growing consumer companies, a vertically integrated, tech-enabled brand that is transforming pet health nationwide.
Lyka now operates from two offices, Sydney (HQ) and Melbourne, with three state-of-the-art food production facilities (two in Sydney, one in Melbourne) and a growing national footprint.
At Lyka, we’re not just selling pet food—we’re pioneering a new standard of wellness for pets. With strong product-market fit, deep customer love, and a track record of rapid growth, we’re now entering our most ambitious chapter yet: building a generational brand and category-defining business with global impact.
The role:
As Junior Videographer & Editor, you'll help produce the high-volume video, static and motion content that powers Lyka's paid acquisition across Meta, YouTube and TikTok. You'll work alongside the Senior Creative Producer and Creative Performance Lead, turning concepts and scripts into assets built to perform — not just look good.
It's a hands-on seat inside a fast-moving creative team, with exposure to every stage of the performance creative process: shoots, edits, testing, iteration, repeat.
What you'll own:
You'll capture and edit high-quality video for our paid performance channels, and produce platform-native creative at volume, edits, statics, motion graphics, cut-downs, to keep campaign testing moving. You'll partner closely with the Creative Performance Lead to bring concepts and scripts to life, and support performance-focused shoots with camera, lighting, audio and on-set assistance.
Day to day, you'll build multiple asset variations and format adaptations to fuel ongoing creative testing, handle motion graphics, captions, subtitles, basic animation and finishing, and keep project files and media libraries organised so post-production stays efficient. Every asset needs to hold Lyka's quality and technical bar before it ships, and you'll stay ahead of social content trends, editing techniques and AI-assisted tools that make the work better and faster.
Requirements
What you'll bring:
You've got experience in videography, editing or content production, with strong Premiere Pro and Adobe Creative Suite skills, After Effects is a bonus, not a requirement. You've shot and edited short-form content for social and digital advertising before, and you understand media encoding, compression and export workflows across channels. You have a real feel for pacing, storytelling and platform-native creative in paid social, and you're comfortable running cameras, lighting and audio in a production setting.
You can juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced schedule, you take feedback well and iterate fast, and you're genuinely curious about emerging tools, trends and AI-assisted editing. Above all, you're driven by outcomes, not just polish, you want the work to perform, not just look good. And, ideally, you love dogs.
