Contract Administrator – Permanent | Adelaide
Our client is a well-regarded electrical contractor is looking to fill a CA role going on a major Defence infrastructure project in Adelaide and they're looking for the right person sooner rather than later.
You'd be working on the RAAF base in Edinburgh project to start — that's expected to run through to the end of next year — then moving straight onto the next project in Adelaide after that. So if you're after something with real longevity, this is it.
On the day to day you'll be doing CA work as your main focus, reporting into the Project Manager and sitting alongside an experienced Project Administrator. That said, this is a site team — everyone chips in when needed and they're not looking for someone who switches off the moment something falls outside their job description.
The role is fully site based, 38 hours Monday to Friday, flexible on start and finish anywhere between 5am and 7pm. No RDOs.
Our client's package on this project sits between $20–25M with their own subcontractor chain to manage.
On experience — they'd love someone who's come off large construction or Tier 1 projects, and Defence exposure is a real plus. Electrical packages preferred but they'll look at strong CA's from other trade backgrounds too.
One thing worth knowing upfront — you'll need Australian citizenship and be able to get a DCAC clearance.
Package is $100–110K base plus super. There's a little room above that for someone who warrants it.
