We are seeking a reliable, safety focused and efficient Delivery Driver with a Heavy Rigid driver’s license to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of palletized chilled cheese products to our valued customers across metropolitan Melbourne.
This is a full time-position, Monday to Friday with availability between the operating hours of 7am-4pm. Part-time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.
Responsibilities

Operate a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck safely to deliver refrigerated palletized products.
- Responsible for some manual offloading, picking and packing orders where required
- Ensure timely delivery of products while adhering to scheduled routes and timeslots across metropolitan Melbourne.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secured and protected during transit.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation manual and online.
- Communicate effectively with customers and staff regarding delivery status.
- Provide exceptional customer service and uphold Florida’s reputation
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety.

Qualifications & Skills

Heavy Rigid Truck License essential
- Forklift License and recent experience advantageous
- Valid Australian driver's license with a clean driving record,
- Familiarity with local roads and navigation systems.
- Experience with refrigerated transport, pallet/bulk deliveries within manufacturing, food, dairy, or FMCG.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
- Understanding of OHS/WHS, HACCP, GMP, and ISO standards.
- Experience and fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and delivery systems
- Strong organisational, communication and commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced cold storage environment with competing priorities.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
