About Boston Doughnuts
Boston Doughnuts is a fast-growing, Sydney-based doughnut brand known for fresh, handcrafted product and a fun, high-energy store experience. As we expand our Bass Hill store, we're looking for enthusiastic Team Members who take pride in great customer service and quality product presentation.
The Role
As a Night Shift Team Member, you'll help keep the doughnut magic going after dark - serving our evening and late-night customers, decorating and prepping product for the following day, and closing the store down to standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and serve customers at the front counter, taking orders and processing payments accurately
- Prepare, fill, and decorate doughnuts to Boston Doughnuts' brand and presentation standards
- Maintain fresh, well-stocked, and visually appealing display cabinets throughout the shift
- Keep the front-of-house, kitchen, and equipment clean and compliant with food safety standards
- Support opening or closing procedures as rostered, including stock checks and cash handling
- Work as part of a team to keep service fast, friendly, and consistent during peak periods
- Follow all workplace health & safety (WHS) and food handling procedures
- Prepare and decorate doughnut batches ready for next-day trade
- Complete end-of-night closing procedures, including cleaning, stock counts, and secure store lock-up
What We're Looking For
- A friendly, customer-first attitude with strong communication skills
- Reliability and punctuality - happy to work to a set roster
- Attention to detail, especially with product presentation and decorating
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail food environment
- Team player who is comfortable taking direction and helping wherever needed
- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or QSR is a plus but not essential - full training provided
- Current NSW Food Safety Handling knowledge (or willingness to complete training) is desirable
