What you'll be doing
Practicing and promoting safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and current Mid North Coast Local Health District policies and procedures.
About You
You present yourself as a registered nursing professional with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, bringing well‑developed clinical skills and sound knowledge across both outpatient and acute hospital settings. You demonstrate the capability to deliver safe, effective and person‑centred care, supported by strong clinical judgement and problem‑solving skills that enable you to maximise patient outcomes in dynamic and often high‑acuity environments. Your communication is consistently clear, professional and adaptable, drawing on information technology as well as confident written, verbal and interpersonal skills to ensure accurate, timely and collaborative exchange of information.
You work effectively within multidisciplinary teams, contributing to coordinated, outcome‑focused care through organised planning, prioritisation and a commitment to shared goals. Your practice reflects an understanding of professional standards, organisational policies and the responsibilities associated with your scope of practice. You also show reliability and flexibility in meeting service needs, including participation in a seven‑day rotating roster that incorporates night duty and public holidays, demonstrating your capacity to support patient care whenever required.
