About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our healthcare team in Tweed Heads. This role is ideal for an EN who is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and enjoys working in a supportive, collaborative environment.
You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Unit Manager, providing safe and effective nursing care in accordance with best practice standards and organisational policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care within scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse
- Assist with patient assessments, care planning, and implementation of care plans
- Administer medications in accordance with AHPRA guidelines and organisational policies
- Monitor and document patient progress and report changes to the Registered Nurse
- Support patients with activities of daily living and promote independence and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to infection control, workplace health and safety, and quality standards
About You
- Diploma of Nursing (Enrolled Nurse) with a minimum of two years of experience
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Strong commitment to patient-centred care and professional standards
- Reliable, compassionate, and well-organised
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience in aged care, medical, surgical, or community health settings
- Medication endorsement
- Knowledge of relevant accreditation and quality standards
