Sandstone Lakes Early Learning Centre, is a privately owned centre located in the beautiful Bribie Island area which provides children with engaging, inclusive and play-based learning experiences.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher who can build meaningful relationships with children, families and fellow educators.
Our curriculum encourages children to explore their surroundings, follow their interests and build strong relationships with educators, families and their community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, guide and support educators to deliver high-quality early childhood education and care.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment for all children.
- Plan and implement engaging learning programs based on children’s interests, individual needs and developmental stages.
- Embed play-based and emergent learning practices within the curriculum.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline.
- Support children’s daily routines, wellbeing, behaviour and social development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and apply contemporary, evidence-based teaching practices.
- Work in accordance with the National Law, National Regulations, National Quality Standard, Code of Ethics and the Centre’s policies and philosophy.
- Maintain workplace health and safety, privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Provide support to educators, the Centre Director and management team.
Essential Requirements
- An ACECQA-approved tertiary early childhood teaching qualification or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in the early childhood education sector.
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to a long-term career in early childhood education.
What We Offer
- Salary of $90,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation.
