framework of structured practices which succeed in delivering innovative solutions to complicated challenges.
The role
We are looking for Engineers and Scientists with surface and ground water understanding and good
experience to join our dynamic team focussing on engineering new environments. Reporting to the Discipline
Lead, this exciting and permanent position(s) will contribute to projects and client deliverables all within a
cohesive team environment.
Candidates must provide inspiring values of safety, quality, environment and ethical behaviours and have the
ability to work collaboratively with other internal disciplines and external stakeholders with a particular focus
on:
- Commitment and genuine passion and interest in the mining and minerals sector with a proven track
record to manage and positively contribute to engineering functions;
- Ownership, accountability and flexibility;
- Proactively participate in various stages of project development (feasibility through to closure and
monitoring);
- Apply legislative compliance; and
- Deliver project tasks and activities in a timely manner to meet all deliverable timeframes, budgets and
client needs.
About you
Tertiary qualified with 3-5 years’ experience in relevant discipline with a good knowledge and understanding of
mine life-cycle. Leverage your professional skills and proactively contribute to project delivery and innovative
solutions. Collaborative approach with strong team commitment to engage with various disciplines, project
managers, engineers, and scientists delivering simple to complex innovative solutions to our clients globally.
Good knowledge of mine life-cycle that will enable you to amplify your skills and contribute to the overall
journey of expansion at SGME.
