MR Truck & Forklift Driver

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious MR Truck & Forklift Driver to join our team based in Dandenong. This role combines delivery driving across Metropolitan Melbourne with warehouse forklift duties, ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and takes pride in efficient, safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate an MR (Medium Rigid) truck for deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload goods using a forklift, ensuring correct handling procedures
- Plan and follow efficient delivery routes across Melbourne's south-east
- Complete accurate delivery dockets, paperwork, and electronic records
- Conduct pre-start vehicle and equipment safety checks
- Liaise professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and site supervisors
- Assist with general warehouse duties during downtime (picking, packing, stock movement)
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe vehicle and work environment
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and road transport regulations
Requirements
- Current MR (Medium Rigid) driver's licence – essential
- Current Forklift Licence (LF) – essential
- Previous experience in a similar driving/warehouse role preferred
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling, lifting, and repetitive tasks
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work autonomously
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused work ethic
- National Police Check may be required
