We are seeking an experienced, reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support to an individual with complex and diverse support needs.
This is a highly individualised role requiring someone who can listen carefully, follow specific directions and routines, and provide consistent, respectful and person-centred support.
The Role Duties will include:
Assisting with household duties, organising and cleaning.
Providing administrative and organisational assistance.
Attending and assisting with appointments.
Supporting community access and walking activities.
Following specific routines, instructions and support requirements.
Providing consistent support within the home and community.
Working comfortably in a household with pets, including pets with additional care needs.
Essential Requirements Applicants must have:
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent).
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant NDIS Licensing.
Appropriate insurance.
Reliable personal transport and a current driver's licence.
Australian Citizenship.
The ability to listen carefully and follow specific directions.
Strong organisational and communication skills.
A reliable, professional and respectful approach.
Required Experience Applicants must have demonstrated experience supporting people with:
ADHD.
Autism Spectrum Disorder, including Asperger's Syndrome.
Neurofibromatosis.
Anxiety.
Hidden or non-visible disabilities.
Associated behaviours and support requirements.
Experience supporting individuals with complex neurodivergent conditions, anxiety and hidden disabilities will be highly regarded.

You will ideally be patient, calm, organised and dependable.
You must be comfortable working independently, taking direction and maintaining consistency in your approach.
A genuine enjoyment of animals is important, as pets are part of the household and some have additional support needs.
