The Restoring Families Practitioner will bring an innovative, intensive and wrap around service that will work with the whole family system.
Join Mackillop and be part of a team passionate about strengthening families & creating brighter futures for children in the Restoring Families Program.
Restoring Families is an intensive, evidence-informed program that supports children and families experiencing complex challenges. Using a therapeutic, family-centred approach that incorporates Aboriginal cultural elements, the program works to build family strengths, improve child wellbeing, and create lasting change.
Through an initial intensive intervention phase followed by ongoing support, Restoring Families helps prevent children entering or re-entering out-of-home care and supports safe family reunification. Working alongside families and community services, the program delivers coordinated support to achieve stronger, safer outcomes for children and their families.
