About the Role
Luminis Beauty is seeking an experienced and qualified Beauty Therapist to join our team at Mintskin Glen in Glen Waverley.
This is a permanent full-time position for an experienced Beauty Therapist with a strong background in professional skin treatments, advanced facial treatments, laser and energy-based aesthetic treatments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional skin consultations and skin assessments
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on individual client needs
- Perform professional facial and advanced skin treatments
- Perform laser and light-based treatments
- Perform RF and ultrasound-based treatments
- Perform body treatments
- Provide pre-treatment and post-treatment advice and client care
- Maintain accurate client consultation and treatment records
- Manage ongoing client relationships and treatment plans
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and treatment protocols
- Recommend appropriate skincare products and treatments based on clients' skin concerns
- Operate relevant beauty and aesthetic treatment equipment safely and professionally
Essential Requirements
- Diploma of Beauty Therapy or relevant equivalent qualification
- Relevant laser qualification/certificate
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience as a Beauty Therapist or in a closely related role
- Demonstrated experience in skin consultations and professional facial treatments
- Experience with laser and energy-based beauty treatments
- Sound knowledge of skin conditions, treatment protocols and client safety
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a professional team
- Professional working proficiency in both English and Mandarin
Mandarin language skills are required due to the significant proportion of Mandarin-speaking clients at the clinic and the need to conduct detailed skin consultations, explain treatment procedures, provide pre- and post-treatment instructions, and manage ongoing client communication in both English and Mandarin.
Desirable Experience
Experience with advanced beauty and aesthetic technologies, including one or more of the following, will be highly regarded:

- RF
- Ultherapy
- Thermage
Employment Details
Position: Beauty Therapist
Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time
Hours: 38 hours per week
Location: Glen Waverley, Victoria
Salary: $80,000–$85,000 + superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience
