Nestled within the grounds of the Blue Mountains District ANZAC Memorial Hospital in Katoomba, the 15bed Blue Mountains Mental Health Unit (BMMHU) offers compassionate, trauma informed, and recovery focused psychiatric care. The team delivers flexible and innovative models of support designed to meet the complex needs of adults living with mental illness, helping prevent relapse, strengthen independence, and enhance community participation. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will work collaboratively with consumers, families, carers, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver safe, compassionate, person-centred, and trauma-informed care. You will play an integral role in supporting consumers throughout their recovery journey by contributing to the assessment, planning, implementation, prioritisation, and evaluation of nursing care.
