Start date: August 2026 Brentwood Park is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated early childhood teacher to join our friendly team. We are a dual room service, with two four-year-old groups, two three-year-old groups. Our experienced co-educators in the 30 children three-to-four year old Ladybirds group, and the wider educator team will support you to establish yourself and become a part of the professional and dedicated team at Brentwood Park Kindergarten. We are seeking someone who can:
- Provide a developmentally appropriate program for the Ladybirds group based on children’s interests and strengths and supported by theory and the frameworks
- Have an understanding of EYLF, VEYLDF, the National Law and Regulations as well as Child Safe Standards
- Work collaboratively with co-educators to deliver the 3yo group program in the Ladybirds group
- Establish a strong rapport with children and their families, enhancing their sense of belonging.
- Encourage children’s curiosity and enthusiasm for learning through our play-based and bush kinder program.
- Compile and record observational notes, photos and work samples for children’s individual learning portfolio.
- Contribute to the team tasks that enhance the program and working together with our wonderful educators
