Hamilton Island is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Producer to join our Sydney-based Digital & Data team. Reporting to the Director of Digital & Data, you’ll play a key role in delivering digital projects that transform customer journeys, improve business processes and drive greater sales and operational efficiency across Hamilton Island and Hamilton Island Holiday Homes.
Working across customer-facing websites, booking engines, applications and backend systems, you’ll act as the critical link between business stakeholders, UX, technical teams and external development partners, taking digital initiatives from initial scoping and requirements gathering through development, testing and implementation.

Lead the scoping and delivery of digital initiatives across Hamilton Island’s websites, applications, booking engines and supporting platforms.

Partner with Marketing, Sales and Operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear digital requirements.

Gather, analyse and document complex business and functional requirements for new features, enhancements and digital projects.

Develop and prioritise user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria and functional specifications.

Work closely with Project Managers, the Director of Digital & Data, Solution Architects, UX specialists and developers to scope and estimate new initiatives.

Prepare Statements of Work (SOW), scoping documentation and supporting project requirements.

Participate in sprint planning, backlog prioritisation and delivery activities.

Support the continuous improvement of Hamilton Island, Hamilton Island Holiday Homes and qualia websites, booking engines and associated backend systems.

Investigate bugs and platform issues, identify root causes and work with technical teams and agencies to deliver effective solutions.

Identify opportunities to improve website and application performance, functionality and user experience.

Translate customer and business needs into practical digital solutions that enhance the end-to-end customer journey.

Conduct process mapping and design improved workflows to increase business and operational efficiency.

Develop business cases outlining potential benefits, delivery options and associated risks for new or changed digital processes.

Act as the key link between business stakeholders, technical teams and external development agencies to ensure a shared understanding of requirements and project objectives.

Brief, monitor and manage scoped development work with external agencies against agreed deliverables, timelines and budgets.

Coordinate external agency WIP meetings, track actions and maintain clear project documentation.

Manage the fortnightly release schedule for website and application features, enhancements and issues.

Maintain and prioritise feature, bug and enhancement backlogs in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

Monitor project scope, priorities, budgets and timelines, escalating delivery risks at the earliest opportunity.

Support digital projects throughout the full development lifecycle, from initial concept and solution design through to implementation.

Develop detailed functional and user experience test scenarios for new digital features and enhancements.

Coordinate and conduct Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing across websites, applications and booking platforms.

Document testing outcomes, defects and feedback and work with developers and agencies through to resolution.

Ensure delivered solutions meet agreed requirements, acceptance criteria and expected customer experience standards.

Act as a key point of contact during the implementation and release of new digital functionality.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures, training materials and supporting documentation for new systems, functionality and processes.

Deliver training and support to business users during implementation.
We’re looking for an experienced digital professional with a strong background in digital production, business analysis and end-to-end project delivery.
You’ll be comfortable working at the intersection of business, customer experience and technology – translating complex requirements into practical digital solutions while coordinating internal stakeholders, developers, UX specialists and external agencies.
You’ll bring a logical and analytical approach, strong attention to detail and the ability to successfully manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Proficiency in digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads), Content Management Systems (eg. Kentico) and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with UX/UI principles is highly advantageous
