About our School:
Dakabin State High School, established in 1978, is located approximately 30 kilometres north of Brisbane's CBD and serves a broad community including Dakabin, Kallangur, Narangba, Undurba, Dayboro, Kurwongbah, and Petrie. With around 1,000 students enrolled from Years 7 to 12, the school has built a strong reputation for academic and vocational excellence, supported by a proud history of community engagement. About the Role:
Contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by providing a high level of agricultural systems support to the nominated school staff.
Ensure that the agricultural field study sites, animals, crops, machinery and equipment used by the school are maintained in a functional, secure and safe manner.
Responsibilities:
Maintain agricultural facilities, machinery, equipment, and field study sites.
Care for livestock, crops, gardens, and agricultural resources.
Assist with the maintenance of agricultural infrastructure and equipment.
Manage agricultural supplies, stock, and inventory.
Support teachers and students during practical agricultural activities.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
Undertake other duties as directed to support the school's agricultural program.
