Role Summary:
Provide person-centred support to an NDIS participant with complex physical support needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with safe transfers, wheelchair mobility, and pressure care.
- Perform routine catheter care and monitor for any concerns.
- Administer or assist with medications as authorised.
- Support meal preparation, light household tasks, and daily living activities.
- Assist with community access, appointments, and social participation.
- Maintain accurate documentation and report any changes in the participant's health or wellbeing.
- Follow infection control, manual handling, WHS, and NDIS Practice Standards.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience supporting participants with complex physical care needs.
- Competence in catheter care, stoma care and medication support.
- Current First Aid & CPR.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- National Police Check.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate, professional approach.
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
