Position Title: Café Manager
Reports to: Business Owner
Position Summary: Logan Cafe is seeking an experienced Café Manager to lead operations during an important growth phase of the business. With plans to extend trading to 7 days per week, introduce evening service, and expand offerings including a liquor licence, we are looking for a hands-on, organised, and customer-focused professional. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations and maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Management: Oversee daily café operations, ensuring efficient service and a high-quality dining experience.
Customer Satisfaction: Deliver excellent food and beverage service, responding to customer feedback and resolving issues in a professional manner.
Quality and Supplier Management: Monitor product quality, manage supplier relationships, and ensure effective stock control.
Team Supervision and Training: Supervise staff, prepare rosters, and provide training in service standards, customer care, and workplace procedures.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations.
Financial Oversight: Assist in monitoring financial performance, including sales, costs, and operational efficiency.
Community Engagement and Business Promotion: Support local marketing initiatives and promote the café within the community.
Support Business Expansion: Contribute to the implementation of extended trading hours and new service offerings.
Skills and Experience: A Diploma of Hospitality Management or Business, or a related qualification is preferred. Alternatively, at least 3 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role is required.

Salary: $79,499 – $85,000 per year + superannuation
