South Gippsland Shire Council is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Marketing Officer to join our Regional Partnerships team.
Reporting to the Manager Regional Partnerships, you'll play a key role in supporting economic development initiatives and promoting opportunities that help local businesses, communities and the region thrive.
No two days will be the same. One day you might be developing newsletters, creating content or promoting a business event. The next, you'll be helping with stakeholder workshops, supporting economic development projects, assisting with regional partnership initiatives or providing administrative support to keep key programs on track.
In this role you'll:
- Develop newsletters, promotional materials and project communications
- Support business, community and stakeholder events
- Assist with economic development and regional partnership initiatives
- Provide project and administrative support across a range of programs
- Build positive relationships with businesses, community groups, government agencies and industry partners
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds qualifications in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing or a related field, or has equivalent experience
- Enjoys working with businesses and building strong relationships
- Has experience in marketing, economic development, communications, events or a similar role
- Brings energy, initiative and a strong attention to detail
