Lead the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of clinical governance frameworks, policies, and care models aligned with best practice

Provide expert guidance to ensure safe, high-quality care across child and family, youth, disability, and mental health services

Champion continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, outcomes, and overall service performance
-
Drive a proactive approach to compliance and risk management, including audits, incident response, and accreditation readiness
-
Build strong partnerships with internal teams and external stakeholders to support integrated, holistic care
-
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, turning information into meaningful improvements
-
Deliver engaging education, coaching, and practical support to strengthen clinical capability across the workforce
-
Provide clinical leadership in managing recipient risk in community settings, ensuring early identification, escalation, and safe, high-quality care
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will need:

Strong clinical expertise and sound judgement, with a commitment to evidence-based, person-centred practice
-
Experience in community-based care, or solid knowledge of HSQF and NDIS Practice Standards
-
Confidence in leading and mentoring others, particularly supporting non-clinical teams to work safely and within scope
-
Highly developed communication skills, with a genuine person-centred approach
-
Proven ability to influence and collaborate, building trust across diverse teams and stakeholders
-
Critical thinking and a solutions-focused mindset, with a drive to innovate and improve
-
Demonstrated success in continuous improvement, enhancing quality and safety in clinical practice
-
Strong focus on wellbeing and safety, fostering supportive environments and proactively managing risk
-
Bachelor of Nursing with current AHPRA registration
-
Willingness to travel across sites as required

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain within one month)

Ability to obtain and maintain required compliance checks, including:

Child Safety & Personal History Screening

Blue Card (Working with Children)
-
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
-
NDIS Worker Orientation Module (“Quality, Safety & You”)
-
Current Queensland driving licence
