As we continue to grow, technology plays a critical role in keeping our restaurants connected and our teams operating at their best. We're looking for a Technology Support Engineer to support our technology network and help deliver reliable, responsive IT solutions across our venues and Support Office.
Reporting to the Head of Technology & Commercial, the Technology Support Engineer plays a key role in supporting the systems and technology that keep Burger Urge running. You'll provide hands-on technical support across our venue network and Support Office, troubleshooting everything from POS and online ordering systems to hardware, Microsoft 365 and network connectivity.

Providing responsive IT support across Burger Urge venues and the Support Office.

Managing and resolving IT support tickets, delivering timely and customer-focused solutions.

Supporting and maintaining POS and online ordering systems, including menu builds, product campaigns and configuration changes.

Troubleshooting venue hardware and third-party platform integrations, including sync and menu mapping issues.

Managing Microsoft 365 accounts, Teams, SharePoint and system security requirements.

Supporting merchant and payment systems, including Stripe and Tyro.

Maintaining Support Office technology infrastructure, including laptops, desktops, servers, printers and audio-visual equipment.

Monitoring network performance and resolving connectivity and outage issues.
You'll be a practical and solutions-focused technology professional who enjoys solving problems and helping people.
You'll ideally bring:

Experience in IT support, systems support or a similar technical role.

Experience administering and supporting POS systems, with Redcat experience highly regarded.

Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, system security and hardware maintenance.

Experience managing IT ticketing and issue-tracking systems.

Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, remote desktop tools and common IT troubleshooting methods.

Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset.

The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.

Confidence supporting technology across multiple sites.
