[Senior Warehouse & Inventory Specialist – Water & Irrigation Industry]

RADIX is a labour-hire partner, and we're searching on behalf of our client, a well-established WA water engineering, irrigation and bore services company, for an experienced warehouse and inventory professional to take complete ownership of their stores operation.
This isn't a "stack the shelves and clock off" role. We need a genuine hands-on expert who can walk into a brand-new depot, catalogue and organise it from scratch, and turn it into a clean, logical, fully functioning inventory operation, then keep it running like clockwork.

What you'll be doing
- Taking full ownership of the warehouse and inventory function, end to end.
- Setting up and cataloguing a new depot from the ground up: layout, storage systems, labelling, stock locations and processes.
- Receiving, checking, storing and dispatching stock accurately and efficiently: pumps, meters, filtration units, valves, fittings, pipe, and bore/drilling equipment and consumables.
- Building and maintaining a reliable inventory/stock-control system, including stocktakes, reordering and picking stock for jobs and site crews.
- Operating a forklift safely for loading, unloading and moving stock.
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and compliant at all times.
- Pitching in wherever needed to keep the operation moving, this is a role for someone who rolls up their sleeves.
What you'll bring
- Serious, proven warehouse and inventory experience — ideally someone who has already organised or set up a warehouse or depot from scratch.
- A strong eye for systems, order and detail: you naturally think in categories, locations and processes.
- The ability to work independently and take real ownership, with minimal supervision.
- Reliability, a strong work ethic and a safety-first mindset.
- Experience in water, irrigation, plumbing, pump/pipe supply, construction, industrial or trade supply environments is a big plus.
Tickets & licences
- Current forklift licence (LF) — essential.
- Working at Heights and/or EWP (elevated work platform) ticket: highly desirable.
- Current driver's licence.
- Gantry crane ticket: highly desirable
