The Services - KNOX Council
We have 6 Kindergarten services in KNOX council. We are proudly assessed by Victorian Government Approved as Meeting and Exceeding the National Quality Standard. The services are sessional kindergarten with extensive outdoor and indoor play area amidst a natural setting which provide wonderful environment to nurture children's curiosity, exploration and independence.
The Role:
At KU, we value professionalism, collaboration and respectful relationships with children, colleagues and families. We are looking for casual educators who demonstrates KU values, integrity and takes pride in the work and is committed at heart to be part of children's early years.
We are currently seeking passionate, committed, flexible and qualified Diploma educators and Early Childhood Teachers who are eager to join our KU Casual team to directly contribute to our established and thriving KU services in Knox Council, in a regular basis (not only during school holiday).
As a Casual Educators and Teachers with KU Children’s Services, you will :
- Experience working in early childhood settings,
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team,
- Ability to build strong relationships with both children and families,
- Committed and passionate about providing high-quality, play-based education and care,
- Support permanent educators in creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments,

Of course, you will need:
- Current VIC Employee Working with Children Check and/or VIT teacher registration for ECTs,
- Recognised the completion of Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and Care, or equivalent as approved by ACECQA. (Graduate Diploma qualification may recognised as Diploma level).
- Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and Protecting Children - Mandatory Reporting and other obligations Early Childhood.
- Completed National Child Safety Training completed via GECCKO.
- Valid First Aid and CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis courses.
- Related working experiences in Early Childhood Education settings for the purposed role.
- Right to work in Australia.
Ability to provide 2 professional Childcare References (Supervisor level) within 2 years.
