FinXL is looking for a dedicated Security Lead to deliver ICT accreditation requirements and provide comprehensive security services for Defence activities. This critical position focuses on capturing cyber and information security risks associated with complex network capabilities, implementing risk management controls, and securing formal approvals from Defence authorities.
Key Responsibilities:

Establish the dedicated security function within the team, providing key support to architecture, engineering, and analysis streams.

Define and specify secure IT systems interoperability across complex network environments.

Implement security management processes in strict alignment with the Defence Technical Assurance Framework (TAF).

Provide strategic security input into the end-to-end architecture development.

Act as the primary lead for defining policies, practices, and standards governing security functions associated with ICT systems.

Coordinate extensively with internal Defence security agencies to ensure correct security postures are maintained.

Liaise with the design team to provide proactive advice on security concerns and capture robust risk mitigation controls.

Develop and maintain the complete security documentation suite required to gain formal Defence ICT accreditation.

Proactively support and monitor the certification and accreditation process to ensure timeline compliance.
Technical Skill & Experience:
- Deep understanding of ICT Security frameworks and extensive experience working within complex IT projects under personal accountability.

Strong working knowledge of complex security frameworks and information security requirements.

Demonstrated ability to contribute to and implement strict security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to influence stakeholders and engage confidently in various forums.

Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, actively participating in project meetings and engaging technical stakeholders.

Highly motivated and proactive approach to responding to security issues, risk events, and tight accreditation schedules under direction.
