Weekly Sunday Shift Required | Weekday Hours Available | Own Car + Licence Essential
Pay: $32.31–$58.16 per hour + super
Ordinary casual rate starts at $32.31/hr. The required Sunday shift is paid at the applicable Sunday penalty rate, up to $58.16/hr.
Required shift: Every Sunday, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Additional hours: Weekday shifts available during ordinary hours, generally Monday–Friday between 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
About the role
We’re a local Canberra cleaning business looking for a reliable casual domestic cleaner to join our team.
This is an ongoing casual role with the opportunity to convert to a part-time position and progress within the business for the right person.
This role includes a fixed Sunday shift every week from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. This Sunday shift is not flexible, so please only apply if you can commit to it every week.
You will also be required to work weekday shifts during ordinary hours. We’re happy to accommodate certain weekday availability where possible.
You’ll complete residential cleans across Canberra. All equipment and products are provided, and travel between jobs is paid where applicable.

What you’ll be doing
- General domestic cleaning, including bathrooms, kitchens, floors, dusting and wiping surfaces
- Occasional deeper cleaning tasks as scheduled
- Following checklists and quality standards
- Working professionally in client homes
- Communicating clearly about arrivals, finishes and any issues
What we’re looking for
- Must be available every Sunday from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
- Must have your own reliable car and a current driver licence
- Please do not apply if you do not have your own transport
- Reliable and consistent attendance
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently in client homes
- Domestic cleaning experience preferred, but not essential if you’re willing to learn
- Able to communicate clearly by text or phone
