The Opportunity - Casual Exercise Physiologist Pool (AEPS) — Exercise Oncology & Supportive Care (Clinical + Research)
We’re seeking an Exercise Physiologist with demonstrated expertise in both clinical care and research delivery for cancer patients to join our casual Accredited exercise physiologist (AEP) pool. In this role, you’ll assist with the delivery of multiple exercise oncology programs and supportive care research programs, supporting teams to provide safe, evidence-based exercise assessment and intervention. The Exercise Physiologist will deliver evidence-based assessment, education, exercise prescription and rehabilitation to optimise physical function, manage treatment-related side effects, support behavioural change and improve quality of life; they will also contribute to exercise oncology and supportive care within research programs by implementing study interventions, collecting research data, and adhering to study protocols and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) requirements.
You’ll be part of the broader multidisciplinary supportive care and integrative oncology outpatient team, working collaboratively with clinicians and research staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care and study delivery. You’ll also maintain accurate clinical and research documentation, and actively participate in quality, safety and improvement activities. AEPS accredited exercise physiologist: as an accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) your practice aligns with the AEP credentialing/accreditation pathway recognised within Australia—supporting high-standard, evidence-based exercise prescription and rehabilitation for clinical populations, including people affected by cancer.

Essential requirements
- Accredited with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Legal right to work in Australia
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- National Police Check (within the last 6 months or willingness to obtain)
- Compliance with Category A immunisation requirements
