About the role
This is a full-time role for an Embroidery Machine Operator at Totally Workwear, located in Loganholme, Queensland. As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating industrial embroidery machines to apply logos, designs and text to a variety of garments and textiles. This is a critical role that supports the production and customisation of our workwear and promotional products.
What you'll be doing
- Operate industrial embroidery machines to embroider logos, designs and text onto garments and textiles
- Set up and maintain embroidery machines, including threading, tensioning and adjusting as required
- Monitor machine operations and product quality, making adjustments as needed
- Identify and resolve any machine issues or production problems
- Assist with the packaging and preparation of completed orders for delivery
- Contribute to a safe and efficient production environment
What we're looking for
- Previous experience operating industrial embroidery machines in a production environment
- Minimum of 2+ years experience operating industrial embroidery machines in a production environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce consistently high-quality work
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills to maintain and troubleshoot equipment
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven production environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of common embroidery techniques and design software an advantage
