We're Hanks Bagelry & Coffee - Armadale's favourite neighbourhood coffee and bagel spot. We've built our name on great coffee, even better bagels, and great relationships with the locals who walk through our door. Now we're looking for a couple of new baristas to join the crew.
Role Overview:
We're on the hunt for enthusiastic, experienced baristas to join our Armadale team on a part-time and casual basis. You'll be part of a close-knit crew that takes coffee seriously (but not ourselves too seriously).
Key Responsibilities:
- Coffee Quality: Prepare consistently excellent coffee beverages, keeping quality high shift after shift.
- Customer Experience: Bring warmth and energy to every interaction - we want customers to feel like part of the Hanks family from their very first visit.
- Team Collaboration: Work smoothly with the rest of the front-of-house team during busy and quiet periods alike, pitching in wherever needed.
- Store Standards: Help maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming space, including basic stock rotation and tidying duties.
- Health and Safety: Follow food safety and hygiene standards to keep the store safe and compliant.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous barista experience essential - you know your way around an espresso machine and can maintain consistency under pressure.
- Friendly, outgoing personality with real interest in customer service and community.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, especially during morning rushes.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Availability for part-time or casual shifts (please specify your preference and availability when applying).
- A passion for coffee and food is a big plus.
