We are seeking a chef for our cafe, on the waterfront at Sandgate. You'll be working amongst our friendly dedicated staff who have worked hard to get our new cafe up and running over the last 3 years.
The Bay Cafe is the only cafe located on the beautiful foreshore of Sandgate. Because of it's sublime location it has become one of the most popular destinations for locals and visitors to the area. we are looking for a chef who can:
- Take care of ordering, and putting orders in appropriate fridges etc.
- Assist with rosters.
- Prepare meals and develop menus.
- Apply appropriate Food preparation and Workplace Health and Safety regulations.
You will be leading a team of other cooks in a busy cafe that has become a destination cafe in Sandgate. You will need appropriate time management skills.
We are a 7 day a week business and you will be required to work weekends as this is our busiest time although weekdays are busy also.
