This position qualifies for an annual Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (conditions apply and may be pro-rata’d to your contracted or ordinary working hours, these payments are paid on a fortnightly basis) under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in nursing and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum of five (5) years FTE post graduate MHDA care experience, preferably with post graduate qualifications relevant to MHDA service provision.
- Demonstrated commitment and ability to work collaboratively and effectively with MHDA consumers and carers.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesise information and develop clear and succinct reports/policy documents/Models of Care.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, present and evaluate education/training.
- Evidence of understanding of and commitment to the consumer/care participation, the recovery model and person centred care.
- Demonstrated ability to work collegially with NGOs and colleagues to the benefit of consumers and carers.
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice through planning, quality management and research
