Position Descriptor:
Rhythm - guitar and electric bass (un-tuned percussion)
The teacher is appointed to Instrumental Music, based at Mount Gambier North Primary School, and other networks as required.
The position requires:
Small group instrumental teaching, individual year 12 tuition and ensemble conducting.
Working as a member of the school staff in collaboration with other schools
Delivering instrumental learning programs based on Australian Curriculum and SACE frameworks.
This position includes:
Teaching rhythm instruments in groups in primary years.
Teaching at least one rhythm instrument in secondary years with other instruments included by negotiation.
Conducting ensembles by negotiation.
Using IT as appropriate.
The position may include distance teaching by negotiation.
Please note that part time and flexible arrangements will be considered.
